Those are AMAZING. WOW.

How long does a doll take form start to finish? What do they look like when you start? Where do you buy a "doll to paint"? How did you get into this?

Could I ASK any more questions?!?!?!

Well you could, I'm sure, but luckily you didn't. ;)

Umm...probably takes about 10-12 hours to finish a doll, which in my life is broken up into a few here and there whenever the child is not under my feet demanding constant attention.

They are a blank vinyl "canvas" when you get them. There are quite a few places to buy the "kits" online.

I stumbled onto them about 6 years ago on ebay, when it was basically about 100 woman buying actual dolls, taking them apart and re-painting them, hence the term "reborn". It's really exploded since then with sculptors having their work reproduced into vinyl kits specifically FOR the reborn artists.

If you're artsy at all it's a lot of fun and can be a great extra income. If you're really interested send me an email and I give you a list of some great websites that have supplies and TONS of info.
